Aaahhh!  Now that all the children are back in school it’s time to relax (just a bit) from this new found freedom and come and enjoy the last few weeks of the Market.  Veggies and berries, jams and jellies, and pickles abound from the summer’s harvest.

Check out our new sign that is now posted on the Chester Heritage Society property.

Next week we will be having free corn provided by the Higbee’s for our annual Customer Appreciation corn boil.  We hope in can stop in for an ear of their sweet home grown corn.  Originally planned for today it has been postponed until next week.

Our music will be provided by Cove FM Radio Hubbards (88.7 on your dial).  We would like to thank them for mentioning the market in their weekly broadcasts!

We have a wide selection of artisan products this week with the following vendors:

Nancy’s Seaweed Soaps; Nourished Natural Self Care (weather dependent this week); Ginger’s Ceramics; Beady Eye Jewelry; Joey Carter’s Jewelry; Fox’s Folly Woodworking; Healing Gardens floral arrangements,  Michele Rivard’s whimsical windchimes; Linda Oikle’s original lino print cards and prints; and more …

George will be here with his Laughing Whale coffee and there is hot food by Indus Cuisine; apple cider from Suprima Farms and hard cider from Stone Poste Cidery

Breads and Sweet Treats by Boulangerie La Vendeenne and  Brenda’s Baked Goods

Our farmers are Higbee’s Berry Farm with a selection of fruit and veggies; R&R Corkums with meat products, eggs, etc.; Bonny Lea Farm with herbs, oils, compost and more; and Melanie from Sweet Spot Farms

Jams, jellies, pickles, and chutneys by June Boehner

And last, but not least, all manner of seafood from the Fish Store with Eric and Sandra Publicover

Finished for the season:  K. John Mason Ironworks and Dykeman’s Folk Art (Brent got called back from retirement to help with work and is unable to attend on Fridays)

Away this week:   Ginger is away but Nancy Humby is minding his shop for a few weeks and will not be in her usual spot with Watkins and Magic Cloth
